Clean nourishment starts long before the stick. We partner with mushroom growers at the source, extract to rigorous standards, and test every batch. Then we show you the results, so you never have to take our word for it.

Quality can be measured and published.

For every batch of Lion's Mane Mushroom Extract, we send samples to an independent lab, test for five quality markers, and publish the results along with the full reports.

Tested by

β-glucan.β-glucans are the polysaccharides most often measured in functional mushrooms, and they are the clearest single indicator of how concentrated an extract really is. Our Lion's Mane measured >20% β-glucan. See report  

Gluten.Our Lion's Mane tested below 5 ppm gluten, the lowest level the test can quantify. The FDA's threshold for gluten-free labeling is 20 ppm. See report  

Pesticide residue.Eurofins screened our Lion's Mane Mushroom Extract for 566 pesticides. None were present at quantifiable levels. See report  

Heavy metals.Mushrooms absorb minerals from whatever they grow on, so we test for the four metals that matter most. See report  

Microbial.A clean extract should also be free of contamination from handling and storage. See report  

Eight mushrooms don't come from one place.

Each species grows well somewhere specific, so we source each one from the region that grows it best. Here's where this batch came from.

From mushroom to stick.

Dried mushrooms from each growing region arrive at a single facility. Every step after that happens under one roof.

    Extraction

    Each species is steeped in hot water, or in water and alcohol, whichever suits it best. Heat and time release the compounds held inside the mushroom's tough cell walls.

    Separation

    The liquid extract is drawn off, and the spent mushroom solids are left behind.

    Concentration

    Water is gently evaporated, leaving a concentrated extract.

    Spray drying

    The concentrate is dried into a fine powder.

    Blending and sieving

    For Everyday 8, the eight extracts are weighed, combined, and sieved to an even texture.

    In-process testing

    The facility checks every batch before packing. Independent testing by Eurofins comes after, as a second set of eyes.

    Packing

    Each 2 g serving is sealed in its own stick, 21 sticks to a box, with the lot number printed on every box.

Our standards

The fruiting body, and only the fruiting body.

We extract from the mushroom itself, never from mycelium grown on grain. What goes into each stick is the part of the mushroom you'd recognize.

Measured by what comes out.

An extraction ratio describes the raw material that went in. β-glucan content describes the extract you actually take. We measure it, and we print it.
